More than We Ask or Think
Short update for today:
Jeremy had a good day yesterday but his kidneys weren’t where they needed to be and his blood count wasn’t as high as they would like for it to be. They gave him blood and some meds to help his kidney function and kept him in ICU another day.
Today, he had a great day and was moved to a regular room! He is on many meds and we don’t love all of the side effects but are praying his liver specialists can adjust the doses and help the effects of them to lessen.
Pray for his continued healing and recovery. He sets good goals each day and works hard toward them.
Pray for his mind to be encouraged each day as he makes slow progress and to not be discouraged as the road can often feel long.
Pray for me (Courtney) and the girls as we miss Jeremy and our days can feel long and without a rhythm. But we can be patient in this season and learn new rhythms that include days at the hospital and short but sweet times with one another.
Begin to pray for our future days: clinical appointments, future medications, and rebuilding—it’s a marathon.
Praise God for His church, our family, our friends, and even people who have never met us who pray with us and serve our family each week. We still have not had one need go unmet. And we see you all and are so incredibly grateful.
“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”
